Victory Generations presents the Healing Hearts Club Camp, a transformative 5-day program designed to provide healing and support for children aged 8 to 13 who have experienced trauma. From 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day, participants engage in a nurturing environment where they explore their emotions, learn coping mechanisms, and embark on a journey toward healing. Through stories, games, art, music, and small group discussions, children develop an understanding of their heart wounds and discover pathways to healing. We have multiple sessions: February vacation, April vacation, and summer.
The Healing Hearts Club Camp is structured to provide a safe and welcoming space for children to share their experiences and connect with peers who may have faced similar challenges. Each day, participants engage in activities centered around topics such as understanding God's love, expressing emotions, coping with loneliness, dealing with loss and grief, and learning to forgive. Specially trained teachers facilitate small group discussions, ensuring that each child has the opportunity to be heard and supported.
Participants can expect a week filled with engaging activities, heartfelt discussions, and opportunities for personal growth and healing. Through a combination of storytelling, creative expression, and small group interactions, children will gain insights into their own experiences, develop new skills for coping with challenges, and build supportive relationships with peers and mentors.
The Healing Hearts Club Camp offers a unique and comprehensive approach to trauma healing for children. With a focus on empathy, understanding, and spiritual guidance, our program provides a holistic framework for addressing the emotional wounds of trauma. By participating in the Healing Hearts Club Camp, children not only receive support and validation for their experiences but also gain valuable tools and resources to navigate life's challenges with resilience and hope.

Trauma is a deep wound of the heart and mind that can take a long time to heal. It can hurt every part of your life: how you relate to others, how your body feels, and what you think about.
Trauma can be caused by a single event, a prolonged event, or repeated events.
Trauma can overwhelm you with intense fear, helplessness or horror when there is nothing you can do to stop it from happening. Trauma can affect how you act. It can disconnect you from family and friends. It can make you depressed. You can feel abandoned by loved ones and God.
If you are feeling any heart wound, if someone or something is harming you, or causing you to feel uncomfortable or unsafe, tell an adult! Even if they threaten you, tell someone. Pray to God to help you.
